Where we are headed
Behaviour change looks different across conditions, but the machinery underneath is shared. We are building that machinery once, then shaping it to each area — starting with tobacco and nicotine.
Design is approved and code is being written. 1 of 10 areas.
On the roadmap with no implementation yet. 9 of 10 areas.
Cigarettes, vaping, smokeless tobacco
Type 2 diabetes, prediabetes, metabolic syndrome
Lung, colorectal, breast, prostate, skin and other cancers
High blood pressure, heart disease, stroke
Obesity, poor diet, nutritional deficiencies
COPD, asthma, smoking-related lung disease
Chronic kidney disease, fatty liver disease
Stress, anxiety, depression, substance-use concerns
Vaccinations, routine screenings, checkups
Mobility, cognitive health, falls
How we choose what is next
We start where the number of people affected and the severity of outcomes are both high, and where self-management genuinely changes the picture.
We build on established clinical guidance, not on a promising study. If the evidence for an intervention is thin, a nicely designed app does not fix that.
Some problems need a clinician, a prescription or a policy, not a phone. We would rather route someone to the right help than pretend an app is it.
If you work in one of these areas — clinically, in research, or in public health — the order we build in should be informed by you.
Planned areas describe intent. Nothing listed here is available for clinical use today.
